We Elevate, we Blossom, and now … we Flourish
Flourish is an evolution in a story of co-creation, community, and growth. A six-day co-living, co-working retreat inspired by Sweden’s Elevate and Blossom, it carries forward the same values of connection, creativity, and inner development.
This first Dutch edition will take place at a converted farmhouse in Weert, in the south of the Netherlands, around two hours from Amsterdam. Together we’ll create a space where reflection and regeneration come naturally, through shared meals, workshops, fireside evenings, time in nature, a spa/sauna, and the quiet joy of being in community.
A continued unfolding
Flourish marks both a evolution and a beginning, bringing the spirit of Blossom and Elevate into the Dutch landscape.
In 2026 we plan to gather around 25 participants, with roughly half coming from previous retreats to help seed the culture and weave continuity into this new space.
Calling co-initiators
We’re looking to build a team of four co-initiators to help bring Flourish to life.
As an initiator, you’ll play a shared role in shaping, preparing, and facilitating both the lead-up and the retreat itself. We’re seeking a balance of perspectives, skills, and energies across areas such as:
- Community weaving and coordination – communications, group culture, onboarding
- Program and facilitation – inspiring workshops, group flow, fostering inner development focus
- Logistics and spaceholding – venue coordination, practical setup, safety
- Care and nourishment – food systems, wellbeing, atmosphere, aesthetic flow
What to expect
Think Elevate and Blossom, but pack your clogs! This will also be a non-profit, sober, and self-organised gathering. As with its Swedish counterparts, there are no producers or consumers, only co-creators.
We’ll work as a team, combining our unique strengths to design an experience that is both grounded and transformative. The process of helping seed Flourish will be part retreat, part experiment, and part community project: a chance to help shape the roots of something that will grow over time.
What we’re looking for
To align with the spirit of Flourish and its predecessors, we’re calling in initiators who:
- Have attended a previous Blossom or Elevate retreat, and resonate with their ‘Burner-based’ values of co-creation, inclusion, self-reliance, and responsibility
- Feel comfortable holding space for others, whether through facilitation, listening, or quiet presence
- Are committed to inner development, and see personal and collective growth as interconnected
- Can dedicate time and energy before, during, and after the retreat
- Bring a curious, open, and co-creative mindset, ready to build something new together
Timing and commitment
We’ll need at least 3 months of active outreach and participant curation through our networks, and in all, this would be around a 6 month commitment with peaks and troughs through the different phases of planning.
Estimated weekly time commitment (for a group of four facilitators) will be defined collaboratively, but anticipate around 4-5 meetings before and after the event, and around 10-15 hours each of planning and preparation.

Who we are
Gonzalo
I’m originally from Argentina and have been living in Barcelona for the past decade. I trained as a physician, but my curiosity and passion have led me to explore many other paths, from meditation and yoga to psychotherapy and coaching. Over the past two years, I’ve been creating co-creative retreats, and I’m constantly amazed by the kind of transformation these shared experiences can spark, both individually and together.
Sasha
I’m an Australian storyteller and organiser who’s made a home in the Netherlands over the past two decades. My work and curiosity revolve around what happens when people gather with intention and care. After years of exploring Burner culture and community projects around the world, Blossom sparked something deeper in me – a sense of what becomes possible when we truly co-create.
